Strong institutions are built on strong relationships. Through the creation of the Black Doctoral Network, Dr. Green transformed a small circle of scholars into a national ecosystem of academic excellence and collaboration. His work illustrates how intentional design and mentorship infrastructure can help students especially young men develop the confidence, social capital, and professional pathways needed for long-term success.
Across education systems, boys and young men face complex psychological, social, and institutional challenges that shape how they learn, connect, and lead. Dr. Green draws on two decades of research and mentorship to help educators understand these dynamics and implement practical, data-informed interventions that improve engagement, belonging, and performance.

Dr. Green’s scholarship explores the intersection of psychology, identity, and purpose in leadership development. His work invites educators, mentors, and administrators to rethink how they cultivate leaders moving beyond policy and procedure to the deeper work of emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and strategic alignment.
